Yes, they did. They said SHOWERS. Obviously they forgot to add 'and remember to bring your soap on a rope'. (grumble, grumble, swear, grumble) I had planned on doing the 7Bridges Walk today in Sydney. I started at The Rocks, a light sprinkle of rain as I walked thru The Wharf area but when I got to Barangaroo the heavens opened & it POURED! Bloody great drops of rain! SOAKED! Soaked to the SKIN! I got as far as Pyrmont - I was going to cross at least one bloody bridge before stopping. I wne to the ladies at Darling Harbour where i found that not only was I soaked but my skirt was turning my socks a dirty green (not bad considering they were orange) my knickers also got the dirty green treatment (they started as pale pink) and my nice new yellow tshirt now as a green streak. ARGGGGh! Ooooooh! And I squelched with every step. {sigh!} And the newspaper in my calico (turning green) became unreadable along with the booklet they gave you to get stamped at each 'village' the train ride home - cold & soggy. HOME - a hot long shower, the feet are no longer cold. Please let it not be wet next weekend for the "Relay for Life" at Blacktown.
