I've signed up for the 7 Bridges Walk on 30 October.
So...
I need everyone to think "NO RAIN in SYDNEY on 30 October 2011."
I've tried to do this twice.
The first time I got as far as Barangaroo (I left from The Rocks) when the heavens OPENED and WATER BELTED from the SKY - to call it rain would be a gross understatment.
I had no raincoat or umbrella and I got SOAKED.
I went home from Darling Harbour wet & cold. In fact I was so wet the green I was wearing coloured my undies and my socks.
NOT a good look.
Last year I went prepared with a raincoat. Made it through 6 Bridges before I ran out of time (this time I'll start in the morning rather than the afternoon) and I still got soaked as once more DRENCHING RAIN came down around St Leonards.
So everyone please Think DRY thoughts for 30 October.

Just back from the movie.

The audience was a lot of fun.
There were squeeling George & Fred fans - a little roof top scene between the pair.
There were cheering Neville fans - the bridge scene
and there was much snuffling after Harry watched Snapes' memories...

The audience cheered, screamed, clapped in much of the movie.
and everyone just loved the Ron/Hermoine kiss and Mrs W's 'b***h' line was wildly cheered and huge applause at Bellatrixs' death.

Lots of beautiful scenery and amazing sfx.

This one flowed much better than part 1 (yes went to the 9pm viewing of part1) I found part 1 to be very choppy - a problem with trying to get so much information out.

HBC did a beautiful Hermoine being Bellatrix and AR's Severus in the memories was a delight

okay - off to bed now as its 3.30am

and Yes I will go to see it again.

I don't know if I should be thrilled or terrified?

One of my friends suggested updating via Sparkly vampires for the girls and semi-automatic weapons with the chase scenes for the boys.

3d is probably a given

What will they think unimportant?

Well you could be right.

To-days Sydney Morning Herald (27/4/10) has an article (pg 13) on a short film shot/shooting in Melbourne recently/now. Can't work out if they are still working on it.
Called "The Apprentice" it stars Shane Jacobson ("Kenny"), Colin Lane & Anton Yelchin...

so if you thought that guy wandering around Melbourne looked like Chekov
you could be correct.

Part of the crowd at 8.00pm - and it ony got more crowded. People were still arriving at 9.00pm looking for a park - fireworks were to start at 9.15pm

Live music supplied by the Covergirl Band - fun & v pop easy to dance & sing along too.

9.15pm Fireworks over church steeple

the show ran for about 15 minutes & was deafening at the end.

Non seq...
Hmm must find an income of Awesome from Chuck & Kirk. - so i like my awesome men together.

"TCoE" is for a work birthday... & yes this is what they call it at work, must be all the real butter...

Made 8 dozen cupcakes on the 15th Nov as part of a MOvember fundraiser for work - must remember to upload cupcake photos...

now must get back to the kitchen cake smells just about ready & I need to get the fruit cake stuff ready...

Yes, they did. They said SHOWERS. Obviously they forgot to add 'and remember to bring your soap on a rope'. (grumble, grumble, swear, grumble)

I had planned on doing the 7Bridges Walk today in Sydney. I started at The Rocks, a light sprinkle of rain as I walked thru The Wharf area but when I got to Barangaroo the heavens opened & it POURED! Bloody great drops of rain! SOAKED! Soaked to the SKIN!
I got as far as Pyrmont - I was going to cross at least one bloody bridge before stopping.
I wne to the ladies at Darling Harbour where i found that not only was I soaked but my skirt was turning my socks a dirty green (not bad considering they were orange) my knickers also got the dirty green treatment (they started as pale pink) and my nice new yellow tshirt now as a green streak. ARGGGGh!
Ooooooh! And I squelched with every step. {sigh!}
And the newspaper in my calico (turning green) became unreadable along with the booklet they gave you to get stamped at each 'village'

the train ride home - cold & soggy.

HOME - a hot long shower, the feet are no longer cold.

Please let it not be wet next weekend for the "Relay for Life" at Blacktown.
